A Lorawan gateway transfers data from the receiving terminal device to a node on the Internet or your local server and bridges the end-user with the network. Terminal devices are connected to the Lorawan network via gateways via LORA RF modulation. Different gateways offer additional features, but the main unit receives and sends the RF signal from the terminal via the network server.
The Lora gateways is a concentrator that allows RF signals from Lorawan devices to be converted into signals compatible with servers such as Wi-Fi to send data to the cloud. As soon as the gateway receives and interprets the data packets with Lora technology, it forwards them to the network server via a standard IP connection, Ethernet or 3G.
