Teens for Technology (TFT) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help children in developing countries acquire technological skills and training.
Teens for Technology Clubs are relatively new on the agenda and came from the thought of expanding Teens for Technology Jamaica, which included a continued commitment to equip schools with computer labs so as to fulfill our innate mandate of helping children in Jamaica to acquire technological skills and training. TFT has already set up over four hundred and fifty computer labs in Jamaica.
In pursuit of its mandate, Teens for Technology launched a benchmark social and technological change programme, called Teens for Technology Clubs, situated in high schools across Jamaica.
These clubs are the game changers for IT in schools, a vibrant and active set of self selected and motivated young students lead the way forward for the ICT sector in Jamaica and they are sure having fun with it.
